BFriendly are an amazing vegan reggae duo that musician Ian Haywood created in 2020 with his wife Cathy. Ian has been an avid fan of soul and reggae music since his teenage years and since then his varied musical career has included playing classical piano concerts, working in a 12 piece soul band, The UK Bee Gees tribute band and more recently, together with Cathy, being a member of chart scoring band ‘Peace On Your Plate’. He has worked on cruises, in hotels and played many summer seasons in holiday camps amongst a plethora of other venues.

The duo’s new 'feel good' style of reggae, along with family-friendly anecdotal humour has been impressing festival and holiday audiences in 2022/23 during their 'Peace, Love and Reggae' debut tour.

With 2 albums released and a 3rd on the way, BFriendly write and sing about anything from Coffee to Bumble Bees and Yucca plants to Curry. Among their wide original repertoire you will find empowering vegan and environmental songs inspired by their love of animals, people and the planet. They also have their own dances and a new awesome version of John Lennon's Imagine.

In just their 1st year of performances they were delighted to be nominated for the VegfestUK best entertainer award.

With versatility in performance times along with flexibility to play outside or inside under their own power pack if necessary, BFriendly plays an hour set or 2 x ¾ hour sets and will guarantee to put a smile on people’s faces and have them tapping their feet and singing along in no time!

I have had BFriendly perform at two of my online events - World Vegan Month Online Festival and Christmas Special Show on my World Vegan Market.

They were brilliant and the viewers at home loved their performances, which I could see from their comments.

BFriendly's style of music, which I would describe as contemporary sing-along, bop-along reggae pop is what I feel the world needs right now.

BFriendly's songs not only make you feel good, but each of them has a message. I am finding that I am still singing their songs in my head.

What can I say? I am absolutely blown away by you both - not only was your performance fantastic, but you are 2 of the loveliest people you could ever hope to meet. 'You are seriously good!'

We are a family friendly 'feel good' reggae duo. We sing and play original fun songs about life and issues with witty anecdotal introductions. We are a relatively new act and have been playing festivals in the last 12 months with much great feedback and are looking to move into holiday camps and the like, which I personally have a lot of past experience in!

I have worked in tribute bands, solo, duos, trios in fact everything up to a 12 piece soul band.

We use basic backing tracks and overlay live keyboards, guitar and vocals. As a guide we usually play up to 1 hour cabaret style set or 2 x ¾ hour sets.

Both adults and children will enjoy this act as it has something for everyone.

We have up to date public liability and regularly pat tested equipment with certificates.
